The Dark Horse Emerges
Here's a nice piece from Huffington Post detailing how, despite debating skills that have so far been less than senatorial, Bill Richardson is impressing a hell of a lot of people with his ideas and his record. It's good stuff and it focuses on an interesting point: do we want slickness or substance? With rising poll numbers, it's fair to say that substance is on the march.

I was thrilled to see this article - I have been making the same point far less eloquently ever since the 2nd debate. It has been difficult to watch the Governor stumble during the debates - it is frustrating to know that he has done so much but cannot effectively communicate that experience to his audience. But apparently he can - it is heartening that even though he does not shine in the debate, the country is still listening and liking what they hear.
