Gearing Up For An Iowa Surprise?

An article at RealClearPolitics.com says that what they call "Richmentum"--momentum for Gov. Bill Richardson--may be the big story Thursday when Iowans caucus.

Then, in this article in the Des Moines Register, David Yepsen, Iowa's premier political reporter, discusses the electability of each of the major candidates and has much to say--that you've already heard here--about Bill Richardson's unique strength among the Democratic candidates to win in Western states.

Four days until the Iowa caucuses....

It was my honor as an Iowa voter to see Gov. Bill Richardson's energetic, presidential speech yesterday in Des Moines. He defined himself as the truly experienced candidate with solid plans to impact change for our country. His experience as a former U.N. Ambassador, Secretary of Energy, and current status as Governor of New Mexico is unparalleled in either party, and the Republicans fear running against him most for that reason. On caucus night the grass-roots campaign is going to show the country that the people of Iowa vote for a candidate based on his resume, and not how a poll tells them. We're glad you support him, people of New Jersey! Bill Richardson 2008!

If you want to hear more about Bill Richardson's strengths you should check out this website I found, www.fittobepres.com. People have gone on and ranked each candidate on 10 "fit factors." You can also see the strength and weakness of each candidate based on these rankings. Anyone can go on and rank a candidate, so lets show our support for Bill!
